‘Help you to break up with IELTS’

This time, I'm going to introduce one Chinese app about IELTS, especially its speaking part. Most of the Chinese IELTS test takers are bothered by their performance in the speaking test. This app is designed to help them generalise the test and overcome those obstacles.

1. Introduction

I think many experienced IELTS test takers are familiar with this app. So this blog is introducing this app to people who are new to IELTS test or starting to prepare for the test. There are many features in this app, but its core function, also the reason that so many test takers using it, is the communication between test takers before the speaking test.

2. How does it work?

This app has a unique part called 'review' (see in Pic 1). In this part, students who have already taken the speaking test will share their test experience in that part. It's just like a forum. People post their information in each part of the speaking test (see in Pic 2):
⭐What's the question in part I?
⭐What's the topic in part II?
⭐What kind of question examiner ask you in part III?
That information even contains the location of the test and the date of the test. Because IELTS will change its speaking test questions every four months and each test point uses the same question pool in four months. In that case, knowing what kind of questions may be mentioned in your test point is an effective way to test takers to prepare their speaking test in a smaller arrange.

3. Other features

The convenience and advantages of IELTSbro are not only that.  It can also help you to prepare for each topic in IELTS speaking test.
⭐It also provides test takers to share their recording of different topics. This can for sure help you to gather more ideas about your answer.
⭐There is also one function called practising. In this part, the app itself will give out some speaking test questions according to the data from the forum. Test takers can speak to their smartphones, and the robot will analyse the recording of test takers and give out suggestions.

4.Comment

This app is very useful for students preparing their IELTS test. It can help them generalise and prepare their speaking tests efficiently. However, I don't agree to rely on this app too much. The core spirit of IELTS test is the skills of language, not the ability towards the test. So, my suggestion towards this app is using this app to collect the topic you want to prepare for and improve your speaking skill according to this.

  1. Hello, I like this blog because of well-organized structure, good icons and pictures. You clearly discuss how it works. You use different color when you want to emphasize something. However, personally speaking, I do not like the background. It is too dark.

  2. IELTSBRO is really a helpful tool which was also used by me when I was preparing for the IELTS. It aims at the preparation for specific exams rather than the enhancement of language proficiency. However, that's just why it is an efficiently helpful tool!
